Normally, your chatting comes to your headset automatically wink.gif Have you got such problem only in CoD3 or in other games too?

If you haven't figured it out yet, there is a setting change that you can have the chat come through the headset or headset and speakers.
Not sure where it is atm, but I can remember changing it when I wanted my son to hear some funny comments from friends.

yeah, you do.
under personal settings.
If you hit the xbox guide button and go to personal settings,  go to voice and you can change in-game and private chat options.
You may have it set to play through both or speakers, or may just have weak batteries.
I notice when the headset isnt working so well, that the sound jumps from headset to speakers and back again sometimes. That, and when I walk out of range of the xbox...

Thanks actually I found that button , after you hit the center X on the controller you go down to personal settings, then go under Voice and change it there.

But actually I went from chat to now no chat at all.  Lol.   I believe it is because I fort forwarded to get 100% connectivity to Call of Duty 3, no more "Cannot Connect to Host, or All players could not be signed in" ANYMORE!  biggrin.gif

So I guess the side effects of having great games means letting go of chat.  Oh well.   If only I could have both, I hear it may have something to do with my NAT settings, but it's shows as open so who knows.

Thanks for all who helped
