double check all of the connections around the areas you were soldering. post a pic if you can to.

the led on the power supply has a red colour normaly its orange when i pull out the connector from the xbox the colour is orange.

ok, in that case it sounds like there is a short in the soldering

sorry, the only way to fix this would be to re-solder it
