component is fine, there is no need to change to vga. just make sure that the resolution the 360 is set to is as close as possible to the native resolution of your tv

I got one of them TV's im using mine with the component through a logitech control centre cant argue with the qualityof the TV for the price only problem so far is trying to get a code for the universal media remote currently asking microsoft for it
