I noticed this on one game when I had it set to widescreen.  What game is this occuring on?

the only thing i have played with it is halo 2. i would just go back to the dashboard and switch the settings back to 480p 4:3. for me it was worth it to have the lower resolution while having it split horizontally. gears splits it horizontally even if you have it at 720p though, so it most likely depends on the game.
