The S-video socket is probably an output???

You could get a VGA lead and a switcher and use your monitor to play on? This is what i've done..

Although if your using a laptop i would give up trying to get your xbox working on it.

Do you mean through your computer or through your monitor?

you cant, for example, put a 360 disc in your pc's drive and play games that way, you can however easily run your 360 through the monitor in HD using the VGA cables.
