Hang on, there's three kinds of DVI. DVI-I, DVI-D, and DVI-A (rare).

DVI-A is analog only, which would be fine in this case. DVI-D is digital, and would not work in this case. DVI-I is analog and digital, and would work.

Before you buy the cable, you should figure out what kind of DVI your TV has. If it's DVI-D, then you'd probably have to use component.

It's DVI-I actually, so it would work. But say that it would've been DVI-D, how would I have had to connect it to get HD then?
Not that it really matters, just curious.

Looking at the specs on your tv, if it were DVI-D, then component cables, i.e. CVBS to Philips. Don't know why in the hell they refer to it as that...

Also, did you notice the 25ms response time on this set? You are most likely going to experience ghosting/lagging. Not trying to knock on your tv or anything, just stating the obvious....

I know, it was the best I could afford though. I'm just a student you know, so even this was a bit on too much...
