You would need the 360 VGA cable and a DVI to VGA gender changer.

i still think that solution is for DVI monitors that arn't digital-only. can anyone confirm?

Scratch that. Went and read the FAQ and I'm an idiot. DVI-D only accepts a digital signal, so the gender changers won't work.

I know there are certian A/V recievers $$$$$ that can upscale component to HDMI.

There should be some stand alone apperatus that does this, probably cost big bucks.

If you had this then you could just use a HDMI to DVI adapter.

Check out the Yamaha rx-v1700 or rx-v2700 I'm realy thinking about getting one of these after I get my plasma.

Just got some sweet Polk Audio RTi12s barely used $700 so I realy want to upgrade everything now.
