720p Or 1080i For 19" Samsung Lcd Tv/monitor

I do know the differance in what they are, but was just wondering?

Is it worth using the 1080 interlaced with the screen size been small and also the display having a fast response rate.

I have the same monitor and use 720p, looks much better and smoother than 1080i.  Interlaced source is never as smooth as non-interlaced.
