I recently added a VGA port to my 360. Prior to the addition, it stayed connected to my 27" (I think; might be 32") Konika (Best Buy brand, I believe) TV. I had it connected with the component cable and it looked quite nice. After adding the VGA port, I broke my 19" widescreen monitor out of storage (ProView; I believe it was manufactured at our local LG plant), and the resulting images made me keep it connected to it. Sure, I have a smaller screen, but the output difference was amazing IMO. I have the highest res setting, and the color output seems more noticable (ie: in splinter cell I can see more of what's going on at a distance). Perhaps it really depends on what you already had it connected to and what you're contemplating moving it to that's the underlying point, but this was my experience with it. Best advice is to try both, and see which you'd rether play your games on.
