i have an lcd that says it is 1080p ready, it as a 20.1 inch and the native resolution is 1050 by 1600 something, when i go to 1080 mode the screen is way off and dosent show everything, might be because its not quite 1080, i dont know, mabie by chance this will fix the problem though.

My Westinghouse 42w2 also does not like the 1080p update.  I tried Saints Row, and the map screen is unreadable or black, as well as driving vehicles.  Not to mention a ton of flickering and lines randomly thrown in when the image does come in full.  Had to go back to 1080i for the mean time.  I'm using the Component cables that came with the system.
