If your TV is HD, then it will display as such.
If it's not, it won't, regardless of the cable used.
If I read right, the set in question is rear projection HD that displays 1080i.
The 360 will display as well as the IQ of the set allows.
*edit* Componet looks FAR superior, even on an SDTV. You should notice quite a difference.

yeah, thats the main thing that drove me to a premium as opposed to core for my second 360

edit: composite cables wont show 1080, will they?

Get component cables and if your set dosn't support 720p use 1080i. You will notice a huge difference.

i think you can run it at 1080 man!

I would recommend getting the cables, or borrowing it from a friend who isnt using the cable in hd mode? and just try it out or something.

Wow, I've never seen a TV like that that can do 1080i. Tell us what it looks like when you try it
