Some people really seem to like them.  I've never used them myself.
I think head mod TwistedSymphony has recommended them before.

I do not recommend psyclone 360 vga cable.  My brother and i had one for his 37" LCD HDTV, and it produced a ghosting type reflection with text.  So we exchanged it for the MS 360 vga cable, and it fixed the problem.

Save yourself some money and possible hassile and go with the MS vga cable; you are not going to get any better quality from any other cable then what you will get with the MS one.

i believe i have that brand for my ps2 component cables, and they work fine... for the few games that work in 480p through HDD...

if you are looking for a decent VGA cable, walmart.com has one for 22 shipped i got, and matches the quality of the MS cables, minus the adapter to connect to a monitor cable.

I've never tried the Psyclone one before, but just to give you a comparison --

The MS VGA cable goes for around $40 msrp, but electronics stores only pay about $26 for it.

Psyclone seems horribly overpriced, that's why I went with the M$ one.  (but it could be that M$ is inflating the cost they charge to retailers though, I don't know...)
