have you tried swithing your tv setting before kicking your 360 on?

make sure on the componet cable 2 flip it 2 hdtv i forgot that a couple times at friends houses

anyways, either your cable is damaged or you haven't plugged the cable goes to your TV correctly. or call micro$oft support.

I don't know if you were refering to my post, but if you were, there are many people who purchase a EDTV LCD, and think that it is actually a HDTV.
