Xbox Hd Calbles, Which One Is Best?

Did you buy the premium or core? if you have the premium, just use the component.

I don't know, but I _think_ component is better than vga, so just stick with component.

Component is better than VGA.

You won't even notice a difference even if they do come out with DVI or HDMI as it is still going to be 720p or 1080i max in most games and component can handle that just fine.

The VGA cable offers a better image quality (hardly noticecibly) and can easily connect to a pc monitor as well as your TV, however it suffers from some small problems such as not being able to run in PAL-50 mode and changing to widescreen for some games on a 4:3 screen (like a pc monitor). Therefore the component cable would be better especially as you don't need to unplug/replug in cables to get the updates for Halo 2 as they require pal-50 to update.

I have VGA cables for my monitor, and yes, some games have a problem being converted to 4:3 (they look squished, everything looks taller, but less wide) but the pal-50 thing, i'm not sure, I got my Halo 2 updates just fine on the VGA Cabels.

Yeah you are using nstc, that is different. He has a SCART connector meaning he is in Europe which uses PAL.

Bah, the way you made it sound, it was like no matter what, when you go into halo 2 update, you need PAL-50, my bad  dry.gif
