False Double Listings
« on: March 26, 2004, 08:59:00 AM »

i'm using the latest "Proper" build of XBMC, and i've noticed that some of my songs are listed TWICE, although i know i only have 1 copy of the song/mp3 on the HDD

i also noticed that when viewing by "Artist", some Artist names are listed more than once if i have several songs from the same Artist...the spelling is exactly the same for all...i used MusicMatch Jukebox to edit the ID3 tags

also, i had some Albums/Songs on the HDD without a Track #, so i deleted them, then replaced them with the same MP3s, but with Track #s added via MM....but they still show up as having no Track #

i've tried  "Reorganize Music Database" , the song "Scan" option, and even deleted the XBMC "games-save"

what else can i  try to get  XBMC to organize my music properly ?

Try removing the albums/MyMusic3.db.

That will remove the database.

After that, try scanning again.
