On my Sony receiver there is a "TV/Sat" input. It has Svideo and component, and then one set of L-R RCA inputs. Before today I had my PS2 hooked up via Component, and my DVR via Svideo, then used splitters for audio. Worked fine, just have to turn on or the other off for it to work, no prob.

Well today I replaced the PS2 component cables with cables for my Xbox 360. And if the Console side of the cable(the dongle) is plugged in, it disables sound from the DVR, once its unplugged it back. The xbox 1 does this aswell. What about the Xbox does this, it means the xbox is basically incompatible with a splitter. TIA
