Double Imaging
« on: June 06, 2006, 07:52:00 PM »

I've had the same problem with my brothers LCD HDTV.  The problem stemed from using psyclone cables.  Once we traded them in and got some MS cables the doubling was gone.

What kind of component cables do you have?

DTV Capable, including 720p, 1080i and 480p
THe projector I have is a DLC2000HD, and it supports the above modes.

I think the Xbox doesn't support any of those -- correct?

define "double image"

do you mean like a shadow image appearing off to one side...

If so the problem is usually with interfearance and inproper grounding. either you have a junk component between your console and your projector (cables, switch box, adapter etc) or you need to get a power cleaner to make sure the ground signal isn't dirty.

That definitly sounds like it's either a problem with either the projector or the Xbox itself...

I'd say try the Xbox on another display and if it works fine check out your projector's settings.
