I use joytech cables.

Fantastic product. You get every connection possible, except scart, and it's all very good quality. There are two switches, one to tell the 360 which cables you are using, and one to direct the signal (not amazing design, but no biggie). The cables are wrapped in a kind of qauze, but it works fine, and means that it doesn't tangle or kink at all.

I use them for my hdtv downstairs (component and phono sound), with my normal tv (composite and optical sound), and with any mate's tvs (composite and phono sound). Work brilliantly.

Basicaly, i recommend them smile.gif I think i got them for about 15 quid...can't remember though. I had to settle for a core, and build my own premium, so to speak...

The Component cables that come with the premium are better quality then the official ones for the Xbox 1

I have both versions of the official Xbox 1 component cables and both of them have interference problems. The 360 has no problems at all.

The only thing I don't like about them is the HDTV/TV switch, it just feels cheap and doesn't click assuredly in either position. I suppose that wouldn't be a problem if you were getting the ones in the store instead.

if I was going aftermarket I'd look at the psyclone ones. I have the psycolone AV switcher and it's fantastic quality, far superior to the pelican products I've used in the past. I went through 5 or so different switch brands/models before I found one that was up to snuff too.

I've had bad experiences with monster, cables just falling apart under normal use, Monster not honoring their warranty etc...

I'd say official cables or the psyclones.. FTW beerchug.gif

I agree with TS's comment regarding the 360 cables , avoid Monster brand cables unless they are the ultra high end models (which are still overpriced but built much better) .

I don't recommend the psyclone cables.  I haven't tested their component cables, but have their 360 vga cable.  And it was utter crap.  The end did not fit tight on the HDTV's vga in, and worst of all the image quality was bad.  It produced a doubling transperency in the onscreen text.  With the MS and Monster vga cables, this problem didn't exist.

I bought the MadCatz VGA connector and so far there have been zero problems with it, though I havent tested the optical audio port on it yet.

Ok I picked up some psyclones to test them out. I have nothing else to compare them to except the standard composite cables that come with the 360 core. All I can say is the picture looks great and the quality of the cables seem great as well. Of course the picture quality between the composite cables and component cables is no comparison. FYI: 360 is hooked up to a JVC 61" DILA TV.

That's a nice set.  See if you can find some other available cables and test them.  You could write a nice little review.
I'm looking to buy a second set of cables for emergencies and travel...I'd like to hear how the different brands performed on a nice TV.
