New Tv, Best Way To Arrange My Inputs?
« on: June 06, 2006, 05:21:00 PM »

I have a 19" LCD Monitor with DVI and VGA inputs. I have the 360 in VGA and the PC in DVI, so i can switch easily.

My suggestion is to run the PC into VGA and 360 into component. If you ran the 360 in VGA, you would get great quality, but then the PC would be crap running through S-video. But i think the 360 still works fine through component, so I'd suggest giving that a shot.

VGA gives poor black levels and if you dont have the update its washed out.

Just route the 360 into componest, the extra upscaled resolution from the VGA is negible(921,600pixels vs 1,049,088pixels)and blacks will be better with the component
