Sorry for posting a "help me" thread, but i did some searches, and couldn't quite find an answer that helped me.
I'm looking to buy a 26/27 inch lcd tv, and as i am a student with only a summer job, it needs to be as cheap as possible.
Must have-
VGA
Componenent
Scart x 2
Composite
Freeview decoder
I am in he UK, which explains the freeview and scart. I would hook up my 360 to component, gamecube and dvd player with scart, pc (switched with a normal monitor via an external switchbox) with vga and leave the composite free for any quick needs (eg. tv out on a handheld or something).
I would also prefer a third scart for an xbox i am currently attempting to mod, but i could always use composite to hook this up (it is only being used for emulators)
Audio is not a problem, i will use a seperate amp for all inputs.
Connections are key, i need as many as possible (so more than one component, 1 vga, 3 scart would be preferable, but otherwise, i have put the miniumum above).
HDMI would be good, and would likely swing me if two sets are similar otherwise, but not completely necessary.
Price (as i have said) is an issue for me, so would need to be under £600 or so, so i guess that's around $800 in US (tvs seem to be cheaper with you lot:P)
I've looked at a few samsungs, and this one has caught my eye (it's pretty cheap too), but it doesn't have HDMI, it used DVI instead, and doesn't use HDCP.
http://www.samsung.c...=SpecificationsBasicaly, any ideas? It would be great if i could get some suggestions, and personal experiences.
