Video Stretches Beyond Screen

Is this a widescreen set? Check the aspect ratio settings on the TV.  Sometimes I'll stretch my cable image out and forget to set it back before I boot my 360, and it stretches past my borders as well.

I have the same problem.  With my situation, it was the actual tv.  There is nothing you can really do about it except live with it.  I did adjust my actual tv to include everything, but than those parts that were previously outside now looked really awful.  So I put it back and just live with things outside the screen.
