Hdmi = No More Video Delay?
« on: March 16, 2006, 08:11:00 PM »

I have recently found out that my 61' Samsung DLP TV has a video delay (a period of time between input of video into the TV and the output of video onto the screen, usually 200ms to 400ms ).

This is mainly because of the conversion of analog video signal to digital output. This IS called a "DIGITAL light proccessing" TV.

I was wondering if an Xbox 360 HDMI cable (yet to exist) would fix the problem since the signal would (hopefully) already output in digital video. Please respond, I really hate this video delay  sad.gif

-Thanks

I'd love to know what buttons to push to enter the service menu.

Is it possible for you to tell me or post an article about it? I'm a horrible googler. sad.gif

For those inclined to get into service mode on Samsung DLP TVs, simply turn your system off, then use the remote and press the following buttons with about .5 to .75 seconds delay between presses: MUTE-1-8-2-POWER.

You're welcome  smile.gif
