Hey there,

I sell HDTV's and I can say from my own viewing experience and messing around with all the sets here, that Mitsubishi DLP's are absolute crap, they are so dark and just crappy lookin (at least the one's we carry anyways)

I own a Samsung DLP and I absolutely love it, Toshiba and Samsung are the way to go in DLP Tv's
The model you mention is very good.

I had read that Mitsubishi was #2 for DLP's so i picked one up (WD-52327).  I was originally interested in a toshiba (52HM95) i compared the 2 online and they were pretty comprable, the only thing that the mitsu. was missing from the toshiba was the built in HD tuner.  what do you think of the model i ended up picking up.

CNET's top rated TV's . I have the 60" Sony SXRD and there is no competition. The Sony SXRD is regarded as the best TV in the world.

It's worth it.

I know I've said it before, but I have never been impressed with Mits. TVs..... For YEARS they're big screens were always the worst, and things still haven't really changed.  Have they improved? Yeah.  But they're still at the bottom of the list IMO.

Sony, like 'em or not, makes decent TVs... Samsung has good sets in almost all the categories (LCD, DLP, etc.). Some good TVs have already been suggested so I'll leave it at that.
