I really dont know about this.. 720p.. 1080i,, or 1080p

all I play on is AV-RCA.. (yellow-white-red) cables.. will I notice a differnce??

serious question though.. I was thinking of buying me one of these... or a Projector..

anybody have any suggestions? on which is best.. whice to buy/price is best?

Well, it will actually most likely look worse in 1080p than it did in 720p. Things always look best in their native resolution.
So shipping is included then? That's good. Still, I wonder how much it would cost ME to ship a 61" TV somewhere far away.

And yes, Adeon, you will notice a HUGE difference. 720p vs. Composite (the yellow RCA cable) is ot even comparable in my book. Games are MUCH clearer than DVDs with much more detail. I REALLY suggest you get one if you can afford, or at least try it out to see what you are missing.

1. No visible pixel structure on Samsung, Sony SXRD looks like you're looking through a screen door
2. 500 million colors (or somewhere there), Sony SXRD = 16.7m colors
3. No burn in ^^.
4. No color fades, (I'd like to see that on the Sony SXRD, but, too bad...)

Ahh Technology...I hate it. You either pay out of the @ss for a bleeding edge piece that will last a few extra years before being out dated or you wait and buy it for a more reasonable price. IMHO I'm going to hold out on any 1080p TV's untill either Carbon Nanotube or OLED is available. The reason for this is I want the best picture for the price. I've been doing research on all tv's for a while now and untill one of those are available on a mass market I'll stick to my CRT for the best picture and LCD for space saving areas. This is all my opinon of course...however that tv does look nice for the price, Congrats.

great tv for a great price. But the only bad thing about 1080p tvs right now. they won't accept a 1080p signal. highest is 1080i and upconvert it... i will wait till 1080p devices exist and the tvs accept a 1080p signal.

but seriously thats a wicked tv, and i wish it had it =D
