It's cable quality.  Take it back and buy a M$ cable online...like from AMAZON or CIRCUIT CITY.

I'm in the UK so the only place to get one at the moment is eBay.

SO? got to Amazon.COM and have them ship to the UK...

I order stuff to the US from amazon.co.uk and amazon.co.jp all the time, they'll ship anywhere.

If there is a "shadow" maybe your picture could be off?
There should be a way to adjust the "alignment" of your picture on your TV, I know mine is.  You can adjust the red, blue, and green colors to produce the sharpest effect possible.
This may be your problem, it may not, but it's worth a try.

What is this technically called?  I'm really not sure, it's not alignment, though.

I received my MS cable from Amazon yesterday (<48 hours since order being placed!) and can report that it's completely fixed the shadow/offset problem i had.

So, in summary,

Joytech = Bad
MS = Excellent
Monster = Erm, too expensive (for me)  smile.gif

Awesome.
I've even heard a few complaints about the Monster cable.  I really wanted one until a couple of guys reported problems.  So far I have like the M$ cables.
