I've heard alot of good things about the Olevia one and I am considering getting it myself.

I have the Syntax LCD, I picked it up after Thanksgiving for $500. The only problem I have seen is that it cut the bottom of the screen off when I played Chronicles of Narnia on my modded XBox. With the 360 it has a great picture and no problems whatsoever. Its an awesome TV for the price. I can go more in depth if you need me to.

Google them. Look for customer reviews out there on the web. Do some research.

The syntax Olevia LT26HVX is superior to the 27" westinghouse in every area and the VGA cable should give better results than Component if the Westinghouse handles the 360 VGA signal properly (many displays do not) .
