1: it's not high definition... it's ENHANCED Definition.. .meaning it won't display any better than 480p. it will ACCECPT HD signals but they'll all be downscaled.

The lumens are OK (but definitely not bright enough to compete with daylight, besides that's heavily dependent on the screen you use too)
the lamp life is slightly below average (does it have an economy mode?)

"choose of color modes" is rarely good, it'd be much better if it had gamma and white temperature options.

And the contrast ratio royally sucks, I take i this is an LCD projector?

How much were you planning on paying for this? I'm sure you could find something superior for less money.

Also consider importing something from the US... 99% of the projectors I see being sold here are PAL compatible.

http://ww.projectorcentral.com <- everything about projectors

Some suggestions from me
if you're dead set on getting HD resolutions at a low price I like the InFocus Screenplay 5000, it's an LCD projector and it's got some of the typical LCD problems like low contrast ratio. but it's pretty good as far as LCDs go and it supports 720p HD natively

if you want something in DLP and can live with EDTV 480p then I'd recommend the InFocus 4805. It's a FANTASTIC projector and IMO the only problem with it is that it only displays as high as 480p (sure it will accecpt HDTV signals just downscale them).

InFocus is a great brand, they use high quality internal components and easily have the best value of any projector company out there.

what this man said, not only is the 4805 cheap but its the same resolution as the projector your looking at and beats the living hell out of it in all other areas.........probably  much cheaper then what your looking at

The X2 is a fantastic projector, I used to own one and I know many other happy owners (I sold it only because I had several projectors at the time and needed some money, Otherwise I'd still own it)

The X1 is actually slightly superior to the X2 in a few areas (and cheaper) if you can find one.

The X3 just recently came out and blows both of them away but it's the most expensive of the series.  cool.gif
