S-video For 360
« on: January 13, 2006, 10:58:00 PM »

We all know how the search doesnt work so I tried...

My friend has a regular tv with S-Video, he's wondering if he should buy a S-Video plug for the 360 since the premium one that comes doesnt have it on. Is S-Video better than regular tv? Or is it not even that much more noticable? Thanks

He skipped rent for a 360 so Hd-tv is out the question for sure lol. I'll tell him to keep the $30 or whatever bucks they want for the cable.

I'd say go with the VGA cable as someone else said.  He will see great images on a computer monitor for a small price, although it may be a little small.

Well he went bought it and I went see it with my own eyes. It does actually look better than the regular video. Its not HD or nothing but it is brighter and more cleaner looking than normal. I guess if you cant afford a HD tv and your tv has S-Video and $30 isint that much money for you. I say get it. Im still in the process of saving up for a HD tv myself. Just waiting to see how much I get back from my taxes.
