Bottom line is if the processing chip in the DLP can't handle the images fast enough you will get lag. I have tested many of the Samsung DLPs (except the native 1080p sets) and they all have showed lag when trying to play fast paced games like halo and PDZ and also on sports games that require precise timing. I suggest you take your 360 up their and test the set out with games like these.

Also from my understanding this is mainly a problem with samsung DLPs. I would try the toshiba DLPs if you really want a DLP set.

Well im the idiot who didnt do any research before buying a tv for my 360 so theres my story. I just bought the Samsung HLR 5688 . HDTV 1080p and it lags like chit when i play 360. i thought it was the xbox but its not. i cant play ANY games without the lag. i tried returning the tv but cant because i bought it from an online retailer so no refunds/exchanges etc . since u asked about this pacific TV i figure i let ya know I have exact model so plz dont waste ur money. if ur looking to spent 2500 bucks then buy the 55 inch sony LCD. way better for gaming. As far as the tv goes itself its 1 of the best tv in the market but its just not for gaming.
