Video Connection?

I just got my 360 Premium system today and am waiting to hook it up when I get back to school tomorrow to a 26" LCD with DVI and VGA inputs.  Would it be better to use the component cables the system came with or buy the VGA cables that MS offers?  Is there any possibility of them coming out with a HDMI or DVI connection?

as of yet no HDMI or DVI cables on offer.

go with the VGA cable far better picture and clarity
