Question: Has anybody else used this cable and in their opinion is the quality ok?
not sure about the Madcatz...but normal VGA output for Xbox 360 the quality is too bright (washed out) just hope M$ fixes this issue...

Question: When using the VGA cable I presume I can't select 720p, 1020i, etc. but only the output resolution? [Just in case I'm missing something stoopid]

i only get that "shadow" crap when i'm running on 720p via component, but in 1080i mode it's crisp.

but with VGA i don't have that problem with any resolutions.
but keep in mind that on LCD monitors, you will never get best picture unless you run it on its native resolution.

i noticed immediately between component and vga that vga was better. i am using th m$ vga.

how do i know my lcd native res? does it really make a diff?

i have been switching it, trying to find out which is best as well as putting wide and normal on but either i am blind or i cant tell a difference. i have a 30in widescreen lcd tv.
