I viewed one of my jpegs that has purple on it and it was brown on my 360, didnt think much of it but now that I have DOA4 Ayane has "blondish" hair and wears a brown ninja outfit instead of purple. What is going on with my 360? Bad component cables? uhh.gif

I have my 360 running at 1080i, with the component cables that came with the premium. Im hooked up to a 34" sony Vega and i have component cables for ps2 and xbox and never had this purple to brown problem. Any suggestions would rock.
Maybe your 360 doesnt like your sony. I wouldnt either if i was your arch rival  tongue.gif . But it is probably faulty wiring. call M$ and ask for a replacement. or you can go out and buy the cable.

yea if your going threw any sort of switching box that is under 100 dollars your going to get crap signals and colors. i had one that was 20 bucks and had 4 differnt console inputs and the very last slot gave me the crappyest picture ever and it was coming from the gamecube and man did it piss me off.

The JVC JX-S111: HERE or HERE or HERE.
I  love.gif JVC stuff.  My TV is JVC, and I have a friend who has this.  We notice little to no PQ loss.  A very good device from what his experiences are.  And Amazon.com has it LISTED FOR AS LOW AS $54!.
Hope this helps.

My Pioneer receiver makes a nice 300+$ component switcher, that does other things too.

My hands do the job for the small sum of a few calories a swap tho!

One thing I would like to add about all receivers these days is that they still don't cater to console inputs. For example all pioneer receivers today appear to offer a maximum of 3 component inputs. Anyone know of any good receivers at a good price with at least 4 component ins?
