Just get use to resizing the screen for widescreen mode. A lot of games only fill 3/5th the screen in normal mode anyway, pretty lousy.

Rings, eh? Sounds like moire to me. Calibrate the monitor.

It sounds like a moire problem. I'm not the guy to talk to about how to fix it, unless your monitor's setting has the option.
How does the picture look on your monitor other than the rings? Color, contrast, etc.

sounds liek moire to me as well. if your monitor has a settign to change it, play with that and see if that fixes it.

If you don't have a moire setting, resize the screen in different ways and see if that helps.

yeah good idea.

what i like the most about this monitor is its reccomended warm-up time: 30mins.

but yeah, it most likely needs to be adjusted
