the one i was looking at had a 4000 hour bulb, and was about a grand... this whole projector discussion has me greatly considering buying one... kinda wish i didnt just spend 1400 bucks on my 65 inch mistubishi.

i think id use a projector soley for gaming if i got one anyways...

I have the infocus X1 which is a little better than the X2 but very similar.

I'm getting the 360 on the 5th.  I'll let you know how it looks compare to my 27" HDTV lcd panel.  For the the price and performance the X1/X2 is great with 4000 hrs lamp life.  I use my projector mainly for movies but some time I'll hook up my xbox on it.

I have the Sanyo PLV Z3 and I just can't tell you how great it is.  However, I would only recommend it (or the newer one which is the Z4) if you can keep the light pretty low in the room you're in.  Check out www.projectorcentral.com for anything you wanna know about any projector on the market.
