Hd Cable No Sound

the hd vga cable you can get what kind of connector does it have on the end? i have a mitsubishi diamond plus 93sb monitor, but the only connector the monitor has is the one that connects to the port on my graphics card, which looks to be the same connector the vga cable has , is that right or does it have the connector like on a gfx card?

sounds like the tv is trying to get sound from a digital source like coaxial or optical. Can you change the setting to have audio taken from phono or composite or something like that? the premium pack cable has an optical out perhaps an optical cable from that to the tv if it has that input?

my setup has sound from an optical into a cinema system and the graphics are through a vga cable.
