I cant see the need for more than 1, but i guess if you could afford it then it would be nice to have one for every room just coz of media center.

1 right now, U of Toledo blocks XBL, so I have no reason to have a non-modded one.  If the recent rumors of a new release for the US hold true, I will be adding a second one.  As soon as I move off campus, there will be one Xbox on each TV, probably all modded except for one which will be my Live only box.

Bought a total of 5 xbox, 3 motherboards w/ HDD all from ebay.
Managed to fix 2, modded 1, 2 to troubleshoot. Haven't got a chance to test the MB's.

Future projects: 4 non working PS2 on there way here.

one for each of the 2 bedroom...
one on the plazma...
one at my moms...
one at my brothers...

all are refurbs from ebgames...
xcept one halo box...
3 have xcuter 2.3b....
2 have xcuter 2.6......
