It will do 720p and 1080i fine. Also when using the highest resolution setting in the dashboard it will display the dash in 4:3 but during widescreen games (except PGR3 for some reason) it will switch to widescreen.

Wait a few weeks until the January sales are in full swing, you will probably be able to pick up a sweet-ass set for a couple hundred bucks.

Well I definately wont be getting it very soon, Ill be moving back to Chicago and getting back in the school swing. What January sales are you talking about though?>
