good read except for the part about the viewing angle of DLPs... really that's a problem with Rear projection sets in general...
LCD and CRT rear projection sets have that problem as much as RP DLPs do...
DLP in a front projection setup doesn't have that problem at all with a proper screen nor do LCD and CRT front projectors in a proper setup.
Not to mention LCD viewing angles arn't always spectacular either.
What about people who want to use other gaming machines, watch TV or play DVDs with the 360 on the same display?
Good support for 480i/p signals can be just as important if you want to use it for OTHER things. In my experience most LCDs and Plasmas, while fantastic at displaying in their native resolutions, look like total crap when displaying anything but.
Just some stuff to think about

Good point about the type of DLP. I was extremely brief cuz this was already a long read. But about your 480 signals, most HDTV displays have no trouble displaying native 480p because they automatically scale it to 1080i. 1080i is really 960i with some extra lines for information. As long as your TV's scaled resolution is perfectly divisible by the type of signal your device inputs, you will have no loss.
So, for 720p (xbox 360 games), 1500i would work without loss. 480p dvd's? 1080i does just fine. Keep in mind that your television automatically upscales any signal to the resolution it natively supports. So technically, a 480p dvd playing playing a 480p dvd on my 1500i display wouldn't look as good had my display been 1080i. But my xbox360 games, and ABC, CBS in HD would look better because they broadcast in 720p.
Hugoboss, your TV is fine. Just make sure you have the proper settings for your xbox360 and you will have a nice picture.
