If so we can all rest easy that we can make our own cables, and/or in no time a 3rd party will make such a cable.  If not, we can confirm that with the current version of the XBOX 360, we won't see digital video.

the only difference I was aware of between dvi and hdmi is that hdmi carries both digital audio and video while dvi only carries digital video.
