Ipods And Digital Cams

in twisted's guide it says the 360 can stream media from a regular windows xp computer and stream devices. i though you could physically plug your ipod right into the xbox 360 usb port? or does the 360 have to read it off your computer so example like for a ipod or digital camera that data flows from digital camera > pc > network > to xbox 360 > xbox 360 plays it or can you hook these devices directly to the xbox 360. now that ipod video is out will it support the format's on the ipod video.

You can plug them directly into the 360

Many videos show people doing just that.

This is what makes no sense.  Supporting the iPod through USB is one thing but every digital camera on the market?  Crazy.  Also, when I plug in my digicam it just pops up a removable disc drive, just like a USB flash drive.

I am not saying you and wrong, I just want official information.  Plugging your digicam directly to the 360 is a big claim.. I would just like to see MS's details on that.

nonono i said it would be LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to support every digital camera and mp3 player there is. my camera is a flash compact card and it doesnt say removable media only the canon powershot s200. so if you had devices that werent supported probally like my camera you would thin MS would let you install the drivers you need but then again they might ban launching exe's so how would that work. back to my origianl point for some unsopported devices for directly connecting to 360 are we going to have to stream them through the pc because that is the only way we can get the drivers to recognize or camera/mp3. CAN YOU PLAY MUSIC OFF YOU IPOD IN GAME?
