dosent seem like it...they want you to buy a media center....
other wise its mp3 and jpgs for you...
un less there is some sort of mod relesed

All we know is that you can not STREAM video without MCE.

That doesn't necessarily mean the X360 won't playback video stored on it's HDD. How you would actually get it onto the HDD is a good question...
