i thought the marketplace demo was less than exciting.. .
only thing i liked about top spin for xbox was making my character look as deformed as possible... me and a buddy had a contest to see who could make thiers the ugliest... he won with some starved 7 foot gumpy guy whos face looked like it was used as a punching bag

I love tennis games. Virtua Tennis on the Dreamcast was one of my favs, and am looking forward to this when it comes out.  I imagine it will get good reviews.

I had Virtua Tennis for Dreamcast and loved it.  This is one game I'm sure I can get the wife to play with me.   She tried Feeding Frenzy and that lasted briefly.  Would have been nice if Feeding Frenzy was a two player game. All other games are too hard to control she says.  Oh well, she's hot, so I guess I can't ask for her to love video games too!

Virtua Tennis always made for some great matches for me and a couple buddies, especially after a bunch of beers and... well anyways, I'm picking it up....Top Spin 2 that is.

This game doesn't have very strong graphics, but hopefully Anna will make up for it. The heck with Maria, she's freaking 6'2! That's man sized  sad.gif

That is one of the best replies I have seen for ages.... brilliant biggrin.gif
there is more to video gaming than FPS's. I am crap at them but I love Football(Soccer) games and I loved Top spin. Its addictive and its fun. alright there are no dribbling hairy monsters in it (Unless Pete Sampras is back)
but it can be intense and lots of fun.
I have Top spin 2 pre-ordered but its not out here until 7th April. I will enjoy every moment of my game of "Pong" smile.gif

Hey, don't get me wrong, I liked Pong!...But the comparison about duck hunt is not quite accurate.

Pong: Hit ball back and forth try to get past opponent.

Tennis:  Hit ball back and forth try to get past opponent.

Duck Hunt: Stand still and shoot ducks.

FPS:  MOVE and shoot ducks (monsters, etc).

SEE the inaccurate comparison:)

BTW - I have pre-ordered the latest version of Pong.

Tennis move about and hit ball back. Try and anticipate opponents. Utilise different techniques and shots.

well I for one loved Virtua Tennis and am a tennis player in real life so I'm looking forward to the game. The first one was good on the Xbox, definitely had the same feel as Virtua Tennis, but to me not quite as magical as Virtua Tennis....but I'm trying to decide if I'm going to buy Top Spin 2 or rent it first, but it's what $40, that's a deal for games in this generation...can't wait until games only cost an entire $35!! but seriously I'll probably pick it up when it comes out, because I'm tired of getting slaughtered in GRAW, and also hearing people in the Pro level bitch and moan about people in recreation (like myself) who actually have lives outside of xbox live.
