Smb With Usb Harddrive Problem!
« on: March 19, 2004, 12:01:00 AM »

I bought an external 250 Gb usb harddrive to my PC and shared one folder from there to xbox's XBMC.
When I try to open the folder in XBMC, it says invalid handle.
All the internal hdd folders, that are shared, works in XBMC.
Can anyone help me, I haven't seen such problem in forums.

Yup, tried that fix, (ie moving one of the shares to the normal hard drive) and the smb works, now .... all someone has to do is work out why an smb on an external drive doesnt work .....
