Go grab it NOW! I've heard from one of my friends that it's a multiplayer demo so please go easy on me if anyone of ya'll see me on there (Meaning choking me from hanging over bars and such). Never been good at playing against others in any SC game  sad.gif

Oh yeah, it's a size of 702MB

Just played the demo and indeed it's only multiplayer here. A simple game of "File extraction" or whatever it's called at Motorway 90.

So far it's a pretty cool game and definately can't wait until this game drops  smile.gif

Oh yeah, ya'll can't strangle me in this demo  tongue.gif

One more thing, there's 2 co-op levels in this demo too

It doesn't work for me. I tried both versus, and co op mode. It will say searching for a session for a second, then sit at joining a session forever. I let it sit for 5 minutes and still nothing. I also don't see an option to create a match either. I don't think they would have released a demo that doesn't work.

Mine does that too.

And after 15 minutes of actually being in one, the game started glitching. Every 10 secs or so it would stutter, get hung on a frame for about 2 seconds, and then resume. It wasn't just me either, everyone in the room was having the same problem.

Same thing here.
So.. I played system link... with myself to get a feel for the game.

To me the visuals... look nowhere near next gen to me.  Nothing that is really detailed (besides the brick)... or that surprises me here.  Splinter Cell has always looked good... and I don't see anything that I should be looking forward to so far... but I hhave only had a chance to look around, not play.

It seemed really bad to me as well.

I LOVED the pandora tomorrow / chaos theory multiplayer mode, but this one sucked. The visuals were mostly last gen, the character models were lame (although gay would be a better word...), the spies no longer have a tazer gun, and the hacking just felt really slow...

I still hope the single player is better...

I thought the multiplayer was really fun.

Diving through a glass window was probably the coolest thing I've ever seen done in a game.

But I can tell it's not going to be as good as Chaos Theory. No true co-op = sad.gif

Hmm...

I wont go into too much detaill... other than to say the full game isnt much better either  wink.gif

Had it about 24/48hours now, done the first couple of levels... it seems to be a bit like saints row with regards to the vsync issues etc... especially when in water.

The graphics arnt much better tho, it has to be said.

I'll have a pla around more tonight and report back

Vsync may be an issue there as well. Even the latest £3000 gaming rigs can find problems when vsync is forced/enabled.

Regarding the demo. I'm sick of the message 'the host has kicked you from the session'. Grrrrrrrrrrr!
