Playlist Freezing

Hi all,

Did a search. I have about 7GB of music to be streamed over SMB that are in WMA format ripped through WMP9. I saved the playlist as an m3u file and XBMC finds it fine. However, after about 10 seconds into the first song everything locks up and I have to reboot. Any ideas?

I have the same problem with one of my playlists.  It appears to be caused by a file in the playlist, not the size of the playlist, since I have larger playlists that don't have the problem.

I have a script that creates separate m3u playlists for each genre, artist, and album.  I then selectively combine the genre playlists to created "mood" playlists.  Each of the genre playlists work fine, but the mood playlists crashes me.  Other larger mood playlists work fine.

I've spent about two hours trying to troubleshoot, but I am yet to figure it out.  The same playlist works fine in XBMP 2.4.

All my files are mp3, no wma.
