I have d-loaded some content for oblivion and i noticed something.  Now tell me if I'm wrong but do you have to actually be logged into XBL for you to use the content that you purchased online?  I don't have internet working now and since that I cannot use my content for oblivion.  It says that it's loading before I go to the continue button like it always does but when I hit continue it asks me if i want to continue then it tells me that I'm about to load a game that requires content that is no longer present.  I never erased it so what happened?

Did you happen to download the content and then have to send your 360 in for repairs?  Or if you downloaded the content onto your hard drive while connected to a friends 360 that could happen.  

But if you downloaded the content from your current machine onto your Hard Drive, it should still be able to read it even if you are offline.  If you can't call M$.

No you dont have to be logged in xbl to use downloaded content.
