Yeah, it's the Crown of Nenalata. But you have to do those other quests for Umbacano first, which take a while.

The name of the quest is Secrets of the Ayleids. Here's the other quests you need to do before that one:

Here's the armorer skill trainers you can find:

Armorer Training

Low Level Trainers: Eitar who is located east of Leyawiin’s great Chapel of Zenithar and Tadrose Helas and the Bravil Fighters Guild

Medium Level Trainers: Rohsaan is located at the A Fighting Chance store in the Imperial City’s Market and Rasheda at the Fire and Steel in Chorrol

Master Level Trainers: Gin-Wulm at The Best Defense in the Imperial City’s Market District but wanders the Market and Elven Garden Districts

And the armorer skill books:

     Armorer
         Heavy Armor Repair - loot
         Light Armor Repair - Bravil
The Armorer's Challenge - Cheydinhal, Imperial City
Cherim's Heart of Anequina - Imperial City
Last Scabbard of Akrash - Imperial City

how exactly do the skill books work? i haven't came accross one yet i don't think, and haven't actively looked for one yet given these locations.  I'm at work right now so can't check on my own.  do you just flip through the pages and it gives you a +1 to that skill?

All you have to do is pick it up and "read" it. Right time you do, it will pop up and say "whatever" skill has increased.

well that certainly makes things pretty easy, don't have to work or pay for it...assuming i'm going to steal any books that are in shops.  woulda been nice to know earlier, haha.  hope i didn't have one and sell it or something already.  i think i at least opened up all of them so i would have gotten the points anyway, but i don't really remember getting any...

kind of just thinking outloud to myself...online...

OMG i just lost at least 20,000 septims worth of stuff. i put all my staffs, enchanted swords, ingredients, my boreal sword, and armor into a chest at the arch mages private quarters since it was my only home for then. wow this sucks. all that stuff was replaced with shoes and a robe.  grr.gif  i saved my game and killed all the people in the arcane university and reverted back to my save, i was so mad.

Yeah, that chest is enchanted.  blink.gif Only use it for ingredients. It will dupe them for you. But not other stuff. I ran back to that chest as soon as I found that out in the game, as I had done a similar thing.

no i put my stuff in the non-enchanted chest at the foot of the bed! and it dissapeared, well i just killed all the dark brotherhood people so ill probably stuff all their ebony swords and armor in a drore(sp). but i still have some good stuff.the only stuff that didnt dissapear was my ebony armor (thank god ) and my 5 glass daggers and ebony dagger. so where can i put this stuff so it wont dissapear cuz i really cant afford to have that happen again? same happened with my legion armor by putting it in an arena cupboard which were filled with rainments b4. thanks

you need to get your own house.  That's the best way to store things without having NPC's taking it while your away.

Get the Skingrad house. Best house in the game, besides Frostspire Tower.

i just carry what i can and sell the rest, keep the strongest stuff in my inventory, haven't had the need for a house yet, i'm about 50 hours in and level 20 or so.  i think twice i had to leave 1 item in a cave or something, but i didn't really need it.  any house i would want is just a bit expensive still.
