Nice find, PP. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

How often do you guys look at your character's face anyway? I only ever see my character when I open my journal, and even then I never look at his face. I just glance at the armor/weapons he has.

It's a great enhancement for the game, but it seems rather pointless considering you hardly ever see your character's face. Maybe it's just me, but I would better appreciate a mod like this for a fighting game like DOA or Soul Calibur.

No doubt.  They should have had just a big square block for a head with no features (since you rarely see your characters face, anyway).  Then they could have used less polys to increase the frame rate. laugh.gif jk...

I just did it with a picture of myself! It works really well. Just wish that I could save it now.

Here's the picture I took (yeah, it was taken 1st thing in the morning  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sleeping.gif) : hence the "just woke up look")

(IMG:http://img93.imageshack.us/img93/1630/front22ks.jpg)

And here's the result from FaceGen:

Apart from the tatt on my forehead, it looks great. I love how it picks up the texture from the original picture.

Another added bonus is you get to see how you'd look if you were bald!

Looks good in the program with the texture but how does it convert in game for the 360? Probably only average.

wait! You can get the shape of your face for the 360 but not the texture? Can this work with the 360 at all? And what hkind of texture can you apply if you get the shape on the 360?

I havn't been able to get home to try this yet, but I am curious on just how you get your face onto the 360 to begin with.

Look at the rightside of this screenshot I took. All those sliders are the same sliders that you see when you create your Oblivion character.

Therefore, you can use this software to create your face, then take a look at the various settings, and transfer them over to your Oblivion character. Settings such as "brow ridge", "chin forward / backward" and "cheekbones high / low" appear in both the FaveGen software and Oblivion. My guess is that Bethedesa used this software to create all the game characters.

When Chuck Norris cries his tears cure cancer, it's too bad Chuck Norris never cries.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/jester.gif)
