Hell yeah, this is awesome! It's almost the ultimate magicians home.

What I like:

1. Cool ass teleporters. (would have been nicer to have that feature earlier in the game)
2. Cool ass garden
3. That thing on the table increases your alchemy by 15.
4. The vault has guardians (now if I can get some guardians on the main level)
5. You get a skill book for alchemy
6. Atronarchs that don't run out of time! (of course, the whole point of them is to fill soul gems anyway)

On the storage situation, I just started dropping stuff in the main room along the walkway to the altars. It's kinda like window shopping everytime I go up there.

And the ring they give you stinks. It's no where near as good as the ring of wizardry and the ring of perfection.

I hope Bethesoda releases the patch so I can cure my vampirism. They need to work on the patch instead of dlc because stupid errors in the game like the vampire glitch are taking people away from the game. I am going to buy this as soon as the patch is released.

They were already working on this before the patch problems came up. I'm sure they wanted to finish this up before the patch in order to make sure their patch works well with the DLC's....

If you go to the marketplace on the dash, and select oblibion under games with new content. You can then select to buy M$ points by pressing the blue X button. You'll need a credit card or a prepaid card from a store or something to do so though.

And as far as the view, I guess I was one of the lucky one's. First time up there I had a sunny day.......for about 10 minutes. Then as I was checking the view it started to get dark and the clouds rolled in and began raining.

yeah the same exact thing happened to me, I almost wonder if they queue the clouds on purpose because it's easier to render, the game never rained that much before I got the tower.

I finally "came home" with no rain! But when you go up top, its all foggy. Must be the clouds because you can't see anything but the ground by the spire.

Wizard's Tower

Just go to the marketplace and select oblivion.. I think there's like 10 downloads available right now and the Wizards Tower is like 4'th or 5'th down. Or just start up Oblivion and select Options and then download it from there.

oh my... Since Malta is not listed in the locale I chose Italy as country. 2 days ago tried searching for this update and had 5 updates for Oblivion.

2 Trailers, FREE
1 Says its a Theme 150MP 6mb file
2 Update of characters 100MP

I went for the Theme which costs 150MP downloaded twice and all the time it says game needs to restart but cant find the Tower...did I download something wrong ? Where is the tower on the map ? Sorry but have stupid Italian language on my xbox...

Um, you downloaded the wrong thing dude. You downloaded a theme for the dashboard.

Download the Wizard's Tower pack.

I sent an email to xbox live support.

On my market place for Oblivion I have only :

4 Trailers
1 Theme ( which cost 150MSP and which I downloaded by mistake)
2 Patches for custom design which cost 100MSP

have only 7 downloads and no wizard tower

Daedric Lava Wine (activate gravestone on left in vault in corner......summons a daedric lord for a minute!!!)

Temporary Mercantile, Speechcraft, and Personality Boost (activate gravestone on right in vault in corner......adds 10 to personality, and 15 to mercantile and speechcraft)

Enchanted Ring (on dresser in living room, add 5 pts to all major magic skills)

Shadowbanish Wine (on wine rack in vault)

Nirnroot (in garden)

Other cool things:

Garden with almost all plants...even Oblivion plants

Ledge with 1-way Teleporters to Mages Guilds across Cyrodiil

The Alchemy Table is awesome.

I should note that if you're 85 or higher, making potions at the table will NOT boost your alchemy as it doesn't see it like an enchantment it actually adds 15 to your skill, so if your skill+table is past 100 it wont increase it.

Boosting your skill to 100 away from the table you can get as much as 115 when in front of it, coupled with a full set of Master Alchemy equipment you can make some awesome potions.

For instance this feather potion I've made: Feather 272 points for 880 seconds on self (yes 14 minutes and 40 seconds)

and since potions are stackable up to 5x I can get up to: Feather 1360 points for 880 seconds on self

I've made lots of other nasty potions too.

Cool. I have a full set of expert pieces and a few master pieces. I totally forgot that master was better than expert and haven't been using them!

Another question about the Wizard Tower: In the garden, there is ONE nirnroot. It's been weeks and it hasn't grown back. Is it supposed to?

I found at least 2 ninroots in my garden, but no they don't grow back.
