Just like the topic states... do i really need to read any of that thing? how much does it increase game play value?

Pocket Guide? the instruction manual that comes with it? if thats what your talking about it might be good to know what the diffrent icons mean. thats about it.

No he means the pocket guide that comes with the Collectors Edition of Oblivion. I don't think it helps you at all, it just provides a history of the continent(?). happy.gif

It explains all the different races and birthsigns and such, so it might help you decide what you want to be at the begining of the game (I know it helped me).
